Edirnespor officials call for concrete steps on new stadium project

Edirnespor Club President Onur Yaren Ayaydın and board members visited the Saadet Party Edirne Provincial Organization to discuss the club’s current challenges and local sports infrastructure.

A primary focus of the meeting was the proposed 10,000-capacity stadium project for Edirne. Saadet Party Vice President Sinan Tekin noted that despite announcements made by Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak in March 2024, no concrete progress has been observed. Tekin called for the government to move beyond mere announcements and provide a clear timeline and concrete steps for the project, emphasizing that the stadium is a necessity for both the club and the city.
