San Luis Potosí automotive supply chain logistics summit nearshoring

The SLP Auto Supply Chain & Logistics Summit 2026 was convened at the Centro de Negocios Potosí, bringing together industry leaders, government officials and academia. Organized by the state government and the San Luis Potosí Automotive Cluster, the summit focused on strengthening logistics, attracting new investments and increasing the participation of local suppliers in North American automotive supply chains. Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardona was represented by Economic Development Secretary Mario García Valdez, who highlighted a coordinated effort among public authorities, private firms and universities to create conditions for nearshoring growth, digital transformation and expanded logistics infrastructure. Attendees discussed strategies to make San Luis Potosí a strategic node for the automotive industry in North America.
