Edmonton Oilers Devon Levi NHL injured reserve Tristan Jarry

The Edmonton Oilers have placed starting goaltender Devon Levi on injured reserve after he missed practice on Friday due to an undisclosed issue. Head coach Mike Babcock confirmed that Tristan Jarry will start the upcoming Saturday night game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

To address the vacancy, the Oilers have recalled goaltender Matt Tomkins from their AHL affiliate, the Bakersfield Condors, under emergency conditions. Levi has been a standout performer this season, posting a 6-1-0 record with a 3.11 goals against average through seven games.

This injury adds to a growing list of players sidelined for Edmonton this season. The team currently holds an 8-1-1 record through their first ten games of the 2026-27 regular season.
