Edmunds ranks top five midsize two-row SUVs

Edmunds has released its rankings for the five best midsize two-row SUVs, highlighting vehicles that offer a balance of space, utility, and value for consumers seeking more room than small SUVs like the Honda CR-V or Toyota RAV4 without the higher cost of three-row models.

The 2026 Subaru Outback is noted for being fully redesigned with a more angular, boxy look that enhances practicality. It is the only vehicle on the list with a starting price under $40,000 and features an upgraded interior and technology. While the standard engine is described as less powerful, a turbo engine option is available.

The 2026 Honda Passport has also been updated, featuring a more rugged appearance and improved technology. Based on the Honda Pilot, the Passport is recognized as one of the most spacious midsize two-row SUVs currently available, coming standard with a V6 engine and all-wheel drive.
