Edo State Deputy Governor Dennis Idahosa Urges Youths to Shun Vices

Deputy Governor Dennis Idahosa addressed the Youth Harvest and Thanksgiving at St. Paul Catholic Church in Benin City, urging young people to avoid social vices such as cultism, kidnapping, drug abuse, internet fraud and violence. He called on youths to adopt responsible elders as role models and to focus on education, vocational skills, entrepreneurship and innovation.

Idahosa said the administration of Governor Monday Okpebholo is committed to creating a conducive environment for human and economic development, citing programmes that promote skills development, job creation and a business‑friendly climate. The event’s theme, “Harvest of Abundance: Favour Without Limits,” was highlighted, and Rev. Father Godwin Obe’s homily stressed compassionate leadership.
