Edo State Governor initiates swift repair of Idogbo bypass bridge

Edo State Government intervened quickly after a logistics company's truck damaged the Idogbo bypass bridge on the Benin bypass. Governor Okpebholo ordered the repairs, and Special Adviser on Projects Implementation and Monitoring Phoebe Williams‑Bello led a team of engineers to inspect the site.

Federal and state officials, including Federal Controller of Works Engr. Babatunde Tajudeen and Permanent Secretary of Works Engr. John Obanor, praised the contractor's immediate response. The logistics company signed an agreement, deployed equipment and began day‑and‑night repairs. PPPC Chairman Eugene Okoloise returned the seized truck keys to the company, while community secretary Friday Uhunamure thanked the governor for the prompt action.
