EDOSK conducts sea kayaking expedition in Saros Gulf

The Edirne Nature Sports Club (EDOSK) conducted a three-day sea kayaking expedition in the Saros Gulf to establish new routes for sports and tourism. The team began their journey from Gökçetepe Nature Park, navigating past landmarks such as Sait Faik Abasıyanık Bay, İbrice sea caves, and the Mecidiye coast.

Despite facing challenging weather conditions, including rain, wind, and storms, the group continued their trek through various coastal formations. The expedition concluded at Yayla Beach due to deteriorating weather and wind conditions.

EDOSK President Dr. Sezgin Kondal stated that the initiative aims to map the Edirne coastline for sea kayaking and revitalize sports tourism in the region. The club plans to organize more activities during the spring and summer seasons to further develop water sports destinations in the Saros Gulf.
