Traveltool launches AI department for agencies as eDreams partners with Visa on AI‑driven bookings

Traveltool announced the creation of Spain’s first dedicated Artificial Intelligence department for travel agencies. The unit will offer ongoing training, a professional community and specialised consulting at no extra cost, helping agencies embed AI in tasks such as budgeting, customer service, marketing and internal workflow management.

eDreams confirmed a partnership with Visa that allows verified AI agents to complete travel‑booking transactions on its platforms. Using Visa’s Trusted Agent Protocol and Agentic Directory, the agents are authenticated and payments are secured with Visa payment keys, enabling a “conversational travel” experience where AI can move from search to purchase while keeping user‑defined limits and risk controls.
