Flamengo expands Shopee partnership and negotiates player contracts
Flamengo has expanded its partnership with the e-commerce platform Shopee through the launch of a third exclusive official jersey. The new black design, featuring tonal vertical stripes and the phrase “Tua Glória é Lutar,” is being sold exclusively on the platform at a promotional price.
In commercial news, the club’s Deliberative Council approved the renewal of the Shopee sponsorship through 2027. The updated agreement will see the brand remain on the sleeves of the men’s, women’s, and U-20 kits, with annual payments increasing to R$ 14 million.
Regarding player personnel, Flamengo is working to renew the contract of defender Léo Pereira. While both parties have reportedly reached an understanding regarding a term extension until December 2029, negotiations remain stalled due to disagreements over financial terms and salary.
Additionally, Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz has expressed a desire to return to Brazil, citing family reasons and a strong connection to Flamengo as his priority for a potential move in the upcoming season.
