Eduard Folayang readies lightweight showdown with Shozo Isojima at ONE's The Inner Circle 21

Filipino MMA veteran Eduard Folayang, a three‑time ONE lightweight champion, will face Japanese judoka Shozo Isojima in a lightweight co‑main‑event at The Inner Circle 21 on Friday, 10 July. The bout takes place at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok and will stream live for ONE members.

Folayang, 42, said he has studied Isojima’s recent defeats and identified vulnerabilities in the Japanese fighter’s ground defense. He plans to rely on his striking, movement and fight‑IQ to neutralise Isojima’s wrestling, which has been his primary weapon. Isojima, 28, entered ONE with a TKO win at ONE Fight Night 36 and brings a 14‑year age advantage to the contest.

The event is headlined by a ONE strawweight title rematch between Joshua Pacio and Mansur Malachiev, with Folayang’s fight forming the co‑main slot.
