Former three‑time ONE Championship lightweight champion Eduard Folayang, 42, will fight Japanese contender Shozo “Great Teacher” Isojima at the Inner Circle 21 event on July 10. The three‑round lightweight MMA bout is scheduled at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok and will be streamed live on ONE FC’s platform.

Folayang says the fight is a decisive test of whether he will continue competing or retire, noting his recent 1‑4 record and age. He added that a strong performance could keep his career alive, while a poor showing would signal a transition to other pursuits. Outside the cage, Folayang founded Lions Nation MMA in Baguio, Philippines, to develop the next generation of Filipino fighters and serve as an inspiration for the sport in his home country.
