Eduardo Castex and Pupiales celebrate municipal anniversaries

The towns of Eduardo Castex in Argentina and Pupiales in Colombia are holding various celebrations to mark their municipal anniversaries.

In Eduardo Castex, the 118th anniversary will be observed throughout September with a diverse agenda. Events include the 3rd National and International Meeting of Rodanteros, the ‘Castex Corre’ athletic competition featuring 5K, 10K, and 21K races, and the ‘Castex Emprende’ initiative. The festivities will conclude on September 20 with a civic-military parade, a mapping show, and a musical festival.

Pupiales recently commemorated 155 years of its municipality through a program of cultural, academic, and sporting activities. The celebrations included the third edition of the Festival del Requinto, which featured local and international performers, aimed at strengthening local traditions and community engagement.
