Eduardo Castex celebrates 118th anniversary with civic and cultural events

The town of Eduardo Castex celebrated its 118th anniversary with a series of institutional, cultural, and community events. During the official proceedings, Mayor Mónica Curutchet reaffirmed the ‘Modelo Castex,’ a management framework centered on financial autonomy, transparency, and efficient use of municipal resources. She highlighted recent infrastructure projects, including concrete paving on Martín Fierro Street and new curb construction at local schools and centers.

The anniversary program included a civic-military parade featuring over 50 local institutions, clubs, and representatives from the La Pampa Police. Cultural festivities featured a gala at the Dardo Acosta Theater with dance and music, including a special recognition for the 20th anniversary of the Pluricanto Municipal Choir.

The celebrations concluded with a large-scale festival near the iconic Reloj Cucú, which hosted musical performances, gastronomic offerings, and a traditional birthday cake cutting ceremony.
