Regional athletic competitions announced in Argentina and Spain
Various regional athletic competitions are scheduled across Argentina and Spain.
In Argentina, the 6th edition of the Maratón Bonarda in San Martín expects over 800 athletes to compete in distances of 5, 10, 21, and 42 kilometers. Additionally, Eduardo Castex is hosting its 5th Half Marathon on September 13, featuring 21km, 10km, and 5km races to promote local tourism.
In Spain, the 39th edition of the Bajo Pas Half Marathon in Piélagos, Cantabria, has officially launched. The event has attracted 530 registered participants, including international runners from the United Kingdom, United States, Germany, and Ireland. The race is set to take place on September 12, 2026, starting from the Oruña Pier.
