Eduardo da Fonte receives TRF5 medal and gains municipal support for Senate bid

Federal Deputy Eduardo da Fonte (PP/UP) has received the Pontes de Miranda Medal from the Regional Federal Court of the 5th Region (TRF5) in Recife. The honor recognizes his legislative work, specifically his role as rapporteur for the project that expanded the TRF5 composition, increasing its members from 24 to 27.

In a separate political development, the Mayor of Jucati, Clelson Peixoto, and Vice-Mayor Moisés Cordeiro have announced their support for Eduardo da Fonte’s candidacy for the Senate. The officials stated that the decision aims to strengthen the dialogue between Pernambuco's municipalities and the National Congress, expressing confidence in Da Fonte’s experience to represent regional needs.
