Eduardo Del Castillo calls for President Rodrigo Paz to resign
Former Bolivian Minister of Government and presidential candidate Eduardo Del Castillo has broken his silence to call for President Rodrigo Paz and his administration to resign. Del Castillo warned that the current government lacks certainty and a vision for the country, suggesting that a failure to step down could lead to a “social explosion.”
Del Castillo cited several critical issues facing the nation, including fuel shortages, uncontrolled inflation, corruption, and gold exploitation. He specifically highlighted a recent attempted assassination of Nadia Beller, who was shot by two individuals disguised as delivery workers. Beller has accused Fernando Cerimedo, a member of President Paz’s inner circle, of orchestrating the attack. Beller further alleged that Cerimedo is involved in corrupt business dealings regarding fuel and gold and has requested protection, claiming there are attempts to silence her.
