Eduardo Filún opens ‘Hilvanar el bosque’ exhibition in Los Lagos

Visual artist Eduardo Filún is launching a new exhibition titled ‘Hilvanar el bosque’ (Stitching the Forest) at the Galería Activa de Balmaceda Arte Joven Los Lagos. The exhibition explores the relationship between nature, memory, and territory.

Using materials such as wool and bark, Filún constructs sensitive landscapes that reflect on the transformations of southern territories caused by human intervention, including deforestation and overpopulation. The work aims to invite viewers to reflect on what remains, transforms, or disappears within the natural environment.

The exhibition will be open in Puerto Montt until October 7, with free admission.
