Eduardo Mondlane University hosts lecture on digital transformation in education

During the 6th edition of the Teaching with Technology Day at Eduardo Mondlane University, Professor David Lamas of the University of Tallinn discussed the complexities of digital transformation in higher education.

Lamas argued that true digital transformation must go beyond merely digitizing administrative processes and services. Instead, it should focus on how technology can fundamentally transform teaching, research, and the university's relationship with society. He emphasized that universities operate within a complex ecosystem of people, norms, infrastructure, and skills, where no single component functions in isolation.
