Eduardo Ríess exhibits head-painted artwork at Argentine Congress
Eduardo Ríess, a 62-year-old artist living with cerebral palsy, has gained recognition for his unique painting technique using a brush adapted to his head. His works have been exhibited at the Argentine National Congress.
Born in 1964, Ríess suffered spinal cord injuries during birth that resulted in his condition. After years of living with family and later moving to the Hogar Terapéutico Florida II, a facility specializing in disability care, he struggled with depression and adaptation challenges.
His artistic journey began through art therapy, where he discovered he could express himself by painting with his head. He has since produced 44 registered pieces, some of which have been sold, marking a significant personal triumph over his physical limitations.
