Eduardo Saverin leads Forbes 2026 list of Brazilian billionaires

Forbes Brasil has released its 2026 ranking of the country's billionaires, identifying 255 individuals with a combined net worth of R$ 1.86 trillion. Eduardo Saverin, co-founder of Facebook, remains the wealthiest Brazilian for the fourth consecutive year, with an estimated fortune of R$ 162.9 billion, despite a decrease in wealth due to Meta stock fluctuations.

Vicky Safra and her family hold the second position with R$ 130.6 billion, followed by Jorge Paulo Lemann at R$ 103.5 billion. The top ten also includes prominent figures from the finance, cosmetics, and agribusiness sectors, such as André Esteves (BTG Pactual) and Miguel Krigsner (O Boticário).

A notable highlight is Ricardo Castellar de Faria, known as the ‘Egg King,’ who saw a 79.08% increase in his wealth, rising from 21st to 10th place with R$ 35.1 billion. The 2026 edition also features five new entries to the list, including Luana Lopes Lara, the wealthiest newcomer, with R$ 13.4 billion.
