Education Minister visits UFPB to inspect ongoing construction projects

Brazil's Minister of Education, Leonardo Barchini, is visiting the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB) in João Pessoa to inspect several ongoing infrastructure projects. The visit includes oversight of works in laboratories, academic spaces, teaching structures, and accessibility improvements.

The itinerary includes the Energy Efficiency Laboratory at the IDEP Institute, a project valued at R$ 1 million. The Minister will also visit Campus I to observe the requalification of the facade and urbanization of the Professional and Technological Center (CPT/ETS), an intervention budgeted at R$ 900,000.

Additional inspections will cover the postgraduate block at the Center of Education, a project exceeding R$ 3 million that is nearing completion, and the Central de Aulas, which is undergoing requalification and accessibility upgrades with an investment of R$ 359,000.
