Education ministries in Kuwait and Morocco announce new academic regulations

The Ministry of Education in Kuwait has announced the opening of electronic registration for the ‘Masarat’ course system in secondary schools. Registration is available from September 7 to September 10, 2026, via the official ‘Masar’ platform. The program targets students who have passed the ninth grade in the first session and current tenth-grade students. Twelve secondary schools across six educational regions have been designated for this system, with one school for boys and one for girls in each region.

In Morocco, the Ministry of National Education, Preschool, and Sports has issued new regulations for the extended educational support program within ‘Pioneer Institutions’ for the 2026/2027 academic year. The ministry has instructed regional academies to ensure that support sessions do not lead to classroom overcrowding or the merging of sections. The guidelines emphasize maintaining optimal learning conditions and efficient human resource distribution. Teachers may optionally participate by providing additional support hours in exchange for financial compensation.
