Education trends focus on digital skills and classroom technology for 2030

Educational frameworks are shifting to address the technological and social transformations expected by 2030. UNESCO highlights that students will require a combination of green and digital skills, critical thinking, problem-solving, and socio-emotional development to navigate a changing labor market. While automation may displace 90 million jobs, it is projected to create 170 million new roles, necessitating a focus on both innovation and fundamental literacy.

In the classroom, there is a growing debate regarding the use of individual devices versus shared technology. While digital ecosystems are central to modern learning, intensive use of personal screens has been linked to digital eye strain, affecting approximately 80.4% of students. To mitigate visual fatigue and social isolation, educators are exploring the use of large-format projection systems. These tools aim to promote collaborative learning and reduce exposure to blue light and continuous flickering associated with smaller monitors.
