Florida launches cultural program for 800 rural students

More than 800 students from 62 rural schools in the Florida department will participate in the “Mi viaje Cultural a Florida” initiative. Scheduled for September 8 and 9, the program aims to connect rural children with the art, history, and heritage of the region.

During the event, students will tour significant historical and cultural sites in the city of Florida. The program will conclude at the Teatro 25 de Agosto, where children will watch theatrical productions specifically selected and adapted for young audiences. The initiative is a joint effort between the Florida Intendencia's Directorate of Culture and the Departmental Inspection of Florida.
