Educational and health awareness initiatives held in Cyprus and Greece

A series of educational and health awareness initiatives have been announced in Cyprus and Greece. In Cyprus, a webinar titled ‘Building an Inclusive School Environment’ was held to address the learning and socio-emotional needs of all children, regardless of ability, socioeconomic background, or ethnicity. The seminar emphasized the necessity of holistic approaches and interdisciplinary cooperation between educators, families, and specialists to support student development.

In Greece, the Sericulture Museum will host an awareness event titled ‘Child Health, Myths and Truths’ on September 20, 2026. Organized by the Piraeus Group Cultural Foundation in collaboration with the Greek Anticancer Society, the event coincides with Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. The program includes presentations by medical professionals on healthy habits and pediatric oncology, alongside interactive cooking workshops for children focused on balanced nutrition.
