Educational and inclusive sports initiatives launched in Italy

In Italy, two distinct community initiatives are expanding their educational and athletic offerings.

Through a partnership between SISUS and the Associazione Montessori Chianti, the Montessori Related International Training (MRIT) project is bringing international Montessori expertise to Italy. In collaboration with the Montessori Institute of Prague, the program offers workshops and courses on topics such as classroom management, child independence, and specific age-group methodologies. These sessions are available via the SOFIA ministerial platform and include both online and in-person formats.

In Montesilvano, Trisi SSD has announced its Open Days and course lineup for the 2026/2027 season. The sports club is emphasizing inclusivity through new paralympic modules for futsal and tennis, as well as women's self-defense. Working with local social services and the Italian Paralympic Committee, the club aims to provide accessible training for athletes with disabilities.
