Educational competitions launched for Greek students

Two major educational initiatives have opened for participation in Greece. The 5th International Bebras Computing and Computational Thinking Contest is scheduled to take place from November 9 to November 27, 2026. Aimed at students from primary through high school, the competition focuses on developing computational thinking through creative problem-solving. School registrations for Bebras begin on October 6, 2026, with a deadline of November 6, 2026.

Additionally, the “Great Blue Mission” (Megali Ble Apostoli) has opened its registration period for primary school students in grades 4, 5, and 6. This panhellenic competition is a joint initiative between EYDAP, the Ministry of Education, Religion and Sports, and the Ministry of Environment and Energy. The program aims to engage students in water protection and resource management in response to the climate crisis and water scarcity.
