Educational expos held in San Martín and Pilar to support student career planning

Municipalities in Argentina have hosted large-scale educational expos to assist secondary school students in planning their academic and professional futures.

In San Martín, the ‘Expo Proyectá Futuro’ drew over 1,500 students. The event featured universities, vocational training centers, and private companies offering information on various careers and employment opportunities. Mayor Fernando Moreira emphasized the link between education and local production, while the ‘Conexión Empleo’ program provided practical workshops on resume building and mock job interviews.

In Pilar, the ‘Expo Educativa Pilar’ saw a larger turnout, with more than 7,000 students from public and private schools attending. Over 40 educational institutions participated at the Microestadio Municipal. Mayor Federico Achával highlighted the growth of the Universidad Nacional de Pilar, noting its dedicated space at the event and its current enrollment of over 6,000 students.
