Educational infrastructure developments reported in Zinacantepec and Ixtaczoquitlán

Educational infrastructure in the State of Mexico is seeing contrasting developments in different municipalities. In Zinacantepec, municipal authorities delivered two new classrooms to improve learning conditions for basic and upper secondary students. The new spaces were provided to the Mariano Riva Palacio Primary School in San Juan de las Huertas and Official Preparatory School No. 6 in the Barrio de La Veracruz. The new facilities include electrical installations, lighting, and seismic alerts.

Conversely, in Ixtaczoquitlán, parents at the Cuauhtémoc Primary School in Potrerillo Benito Juárez have reported a lack of adequate classroom space. Families claim that despite the creation of a new student group, the school lacks a functional room, forcing students to use improvised spaces such as offices or an auditorium. Parents also raised concerns regarding the school's management of funds and the maintenance of existing structures, specifically citing leaks in a corrugated metal roof that the administration has failed to repair.
