Educational infrastructure expands in Hoboken and Brussels

Educational institutions in Belgium are expanding infrastructure to meet growing student demands. In Hoboken, Karel de Grote Hogeschool (KdG) has officially opened a new 2,300 m² high-tech building on its technology campus. Representing an investment of approximately 6 million euros, the facility serves as a central hub connecting existing buildings and providing modern classrooms, study spaces, a library, and specialized environments for fields such as automotive technology, medical imaging, and multimedia.

Simultaneously, the City of Brussels has announced plans to construct a new Dutch-language school campus at the Tour & Taxis site. Designed to accommodate approximately 800 students, the project will integrate primary and secondary education with a large sports hall. The facility aims to address the high demand for Dutch-language schooling in Brussels while offering vocational training to prepare youth for the local labor market. The sports hall is intended to serve both students and local community sports clubs.
