Educational infrastructure improvements underway in Chile and Argentina
Educational infrastructure projects are receiving significant funding in Chile and Argentina. In the Araucanía region of Chile, the Ministry of Education has completed a conservation project for Colegio América de Vilcún. The investment, exceeding $561 million pesos, includes roof replacements, the installation of thermal windows, improvements to sanitary services, and the renovation of interior and exterior surfaces. The project aims to provide safer and more comfortable learning environments for 600 students.
In Argentina, the municipalities of Tupungato and Tunuyán in the Uco Valley have signed agreements to utilize 2026 educational financing for school improvements. Tupungato will focus on essential maintenance and utility installations, such as gas, water, and electricity. Tunuyán will address urban infrastructure related to schools, connectivity for 35 institutions, and student support services including transport and school supplies.
