Educational initiatives announced in São João da Madeira and Museu das Comunicações

The municipality of São João da Madeira is hosting the 17th edition of the Education Days at Casa da Criatividade on September 2 and 3. Under the theme “Building the School of Tomorrow Today,” the event serves as a forum for researchers, specialists, and educators to discuss contemporary educational challenges, including digital influence on the mind, 21st-century technological competencies, and formative assessment.

Separately, the Museu das Comunicações, part of the Fundação Portuguesa das Comunicações, will present its 2026/2027 Educational Program on September 9. The program, themed “A Museum for All,” focuses on inclusion and accessibility for all school cycles and individuals with specific educational needs. It aims to promote democratic culture, civic awareness, and sustainable development through the exploration of communication history and heritage.
