Educational initiatives expand in Guanajuato and Pitalito
The Secretariat of Education of Guanajuato (SEG) has expanded its Early Childhood Community Care Centers (CCAPI) from 13 to 48 for the current school year. The initiative aims to provide initial education, family orientation, and specialized support for children aged 0 to 3. During a visit to Moroleón and Uriangato, Education Secretary Luis Ignacio Sánchez Gómez inspected the centers, noting that the expansion provides more families with services to promote cognitive, emotional, physical, and social development.
In Pitalito, the Municipal Secretariat of Education is initiating a contract worth 61.65 million pesos to provide school transportation for students with disabilities. The service will cover 26 students across seven urban and rural routes, including those with hearing and visual impairments. This measure is intended to ensure educational continuity for students, particularly those affected by the temporary closure of the Alto Cabuyal site.
