Educational initiatives in Romania focus on child safety and health
Various educational initiatives in Romania are focusing on the development of safety, health, and responsibility among children. In Gorj, police officers from the Gorj County Police Inspectorate participated in the ‘Little Saviors’ project. This initiative aims to teach children about preventive behaviors and safety rules in schools, public spaces, and traffic to foster a sense of community responsibility.
In the Poarta Albă and Nazarcea regions, educational activities have centered on personal hygiene and nutrition. To mark Global Handwashing Day, students at the Poarta Albă Agricultural High School engaged in practical experiments using water, pepper, and soap to visualize the importance of hand hygiene. Additionally, preschools in Poarta Albă and Nazarcea held activities for World Food Day, using games and creative exercises to teach children about balanced diets and the benefits of consuming fruits and vegetables.
