Educational initiatives launched in Italy for legality and health

Two distinct educational campaigns have been launched in Italy targeting students and teachers to address social and health issues.

The “Pagine di Legalità” project, promoted by the Scintille di Futuro ETS Foundation, held its first webinar with Pietro Grasso and Nicola Gratteri. The initiative provides secondary school teachers with multimedia kits and webinars focused on memory, rights, and civil responsibility to combat mafia influence. Currently, over 2,500 classes and 55,000 students are enrolled in the program, which includes a national campaign and a planned live broadcast from the Maxiprocesso Bunker in Palermo in 2027.

Separately, the “La prevenzione si impara da piccoli” campaign was presented at the Ministry of Health. This collaboration between Fondazione Andi, Fondazione Cotarella, and Fondazione Renato Giunti aims to educate primary school teachers on healthy lifestyles and the prevention of eating disorders. The project utilizes five webinars to help educators identify early signs of nutritional and eating disorders, which currently represent the second leading cause of death among Italian adolescents.
