Educational institutions implement AI training and technology forums

Educational institutions in Costa Rica and Argentina are organizing specialized training and forums to address the integration of artificial intelligence in teaching and learning.

In Costa Rica, the CIITEC-USAM 2026 and the V Educational Forum will take place on November 17 and 18 at the Omar Dengo Foundation in San José. The event, titled “Artificial Intelligence as a Strategic Ally in University Teaching,” aims to explore how to use emerging technologies to strengthen educational innovation while maintaining critical thinking and ethical responsibility. Experts will discuss the evolving role of educators as guides in the digital age.

In Argentina, the Plan Pehuén is hosting an Educational Technologies Athenaeum at ISFD N° 7 in Las Lajas. Scheduled for October 20 and 21, the training is designed for teachers across various educational levels. The program includes workshops on digital whiteboards, robotics, podcasts, and the pedagogical use of artificial intelligence, focusing on responsible classroom practices and active methodologies.
