Educational institutions in Argentina and Chile promote pedagogical innovation

Educational institutions in Argentina and Chile are hosting events focused on pedagogical innovation and the evolution of teaching practices.

At the Faculty of Education of UNCuyo in Argentina, more than 70 teachers and professionals began a two-day workshop titled ‘Play, education and human well-being. Paths toward transformation’. The sessions aim to explore play as a tool for pedagogical-didactic transformation and a fundamental right for children. The program includes discussions on using play to develop social skills and enhance individual and collective learning.

In Chile, the Faculty of Education and Humanities at UNAB presented the book ‘Pedagogías en movimiento: ensayos sobre una escuela viva’ (Pedagogies in Motion: Essays on a Living School) in Concepción. Coordinated by academics Carmen Gloria Garrido and René Valdés, the publication features diverse perspectives from researchers on philosophy, literature, creativity, and inclusion. The project seeks to encourage future teachers to approach classroom instruction through questioning and multidisciplinary perspectives.
