Educational institutions in Coahuila celebrate anniversaries

The Centro de Bachillerato Tecnológico Industrial y de Servicios (CBTis) number 36 in Monclova is celebrating its 54th anniversary. Director Narciso Pérez Rendón noted the institution's evolution from a small school to a major technological center that currently serves 2,300 students, with a capacity to reach 2,600. The anniversary ceremonies included university rectors and members of the school's first graduating class.

In Ramos Arizpe, the Universidad Tecnológica de Coahuila (UTC) is preparing for its anniversary celebration scheduled for October 29. Rector Sergio Guadarrama announced that the event will feature musical group El Poder del Norte, along with Banda Brava and a local DJ. The university expects between 4,000 and 5,000 attendees, consisting of current students and alumni. To maintain order, the university is implementing strict entry controls for alumni via QR code registration and will host an alcohol-free and smoke-free event.
