Educational institutions in Dominican Republic launch communication programs

The Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) has inaugurated the sixth edition of its Corporate Communication Conference in Santo Domingo. The event, themed ‘Political and strategic communication, institutional and business narrative,’ focused on the importance of ethics, credibility, and responsibility in professional communication.

In a separate initiative, the Sur Futuro Foundation and the Universidad Católica Nordestana (UCNE) have launched the second edition of a specialized course titled ‘Communicating Climate Change: Narratives of the Future.’ Held in San Francisco de Macorís and sponsored by Refidomsa, the program aims to enhance the analytical and technical skills of communication professionals regarding environmental issues and climate crisis adaptation.
