Educational institutions in Gotha and South Tyrol announce new course programs
Educational institutions in Gotha, Germany, and South Tyrol, Italy, have announced new course offerings for upcoming semesters.
The Kreisvolkshochschule (KVHS) in Gotha is launching its autumn semester with 150 courses. The program includes 29 new subjects covering areas such as politics, culture, health, languages, and IT. Notably, the KVHS is one of only four institutions in Thuringia where students can obtain secondary school diplomas, including the Abitur. Director Marcus Reich emphasized the school's role as a community hub to combat loneliness through social interaction.
In South Tyrol, the Office for Continuing Education and Languages has released its 'Zeit für Weiterbildung' brochure, detailing educational opportunities available through January 2027. The curriculum spans artificial intelligence, languages, creativity, and environmental studies. The initiative aims to promote lifelong learning and critical thinking in response to rapid digital and technological advancements.
