Educational institutions in Minas Gerais announce new courses and events

Educational institutions in Minas Gerais, Brazil, have announced new opportunities for students and professionals.

CEFET-MG's Varginha campus is accepting registrations for the IV Week of Innovation, Technology, and Entrepreneurship (SITE 2026). Scheduled from October 20 to October 23, the free event features practical workshops on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, GitHub, Power BI, and system development. The program also includes the II Symposium of Innovation, Technology, Entrepreneurship, and Computer Sciences (SINTEC) and a networking session with Porto Inovação.

Additionally, IFSULDEMINAS is offering 60 vacancies for a free distance learning specialization in Innovative Methodologies for Teaching the Portuguese Language. Aimed at graduates in Letters or Linguistics, the 12-month course will begin in the first semester of 2027 through the Poços de Caldas campus. While the course is tuition-free, a registration fee of R$ 25 applies, with exemptions available for candidates meeting specific income and public education criteria.
