Educational institutions in Senegal and Cameroon announce new developments

The Université du Sénégal oriental (USO) has opened recruitment for two administrative assistant positions at its rectorate in Tambacounda. This hiring process is part of a broader recruitment effort for 33 positions across 29 profiles to support the university's initial activities. The assistant roles are temporary, three-month contracts with the possibility of renewal. Applications must be submitted via email by November 6, 2026.

In Douala, Cameroon, the ISAC-ESMOD university group launched its 2026-2027 academic year with over 500 students enrolled. Promoter Paul Nguepi announced that enrollment has tripled compared to previous years. To support this growth, the institution has invested approximately 22 million FCFA in new pedagogical equipment. The program focuses on professional training in fashion and entrepreneurship to promote economic autonomy among young people.
