Educational institutions in Spain receive honors and launch new vocational programs

CEIP Gran Capitán de Íllora has received an honorable mention at the XIII Good Educational Practices Awards, organized by the Asociación Mejora tu Escuela Pública (MEP). The school was recognized for its 'Un libro, un colegio' project, which focuses on fostering a love for reading and educational innovation through collaborative experiences involving teachers and families.

In Capdepera, IES Capdepera will become the first center to offer a specialized training program in the craft of 'llata' (palmite) making. The course, titled 'Elaboració d’Objectes Artesans de Pauma', is part of the official state catalog of training specialties recognized by the Ministry of Labor through SEPE. The program aims to preserve traditional artisanal heritage by teaching students the entire creation process, from raw material to commercial-quality products.
