Educational milestones reported in Panama and Mexico

In Panama, the Universidad Especializada de las Américas (UDELAS) graduated 71 professionals from its El Empalme Academic Program in the Bocas del Toro province. The graduates earned degrees in special education, pedagogy, and intercultural bilingual education. UDELAS Rector Dr. Nicolasa Terreros Barrios emphasized the program's role in expanding educational opportunities in diverse regions and encouraged graduates to promote ancestral traditions and linguistic plurality.

In Mexico, the Instituto Tecnológico de Tuxtla Gutiérrez (ITTG) held a graduation ceremony for 94 students from the 2022-2026 generation. The graduates represent eight different fields, including Biochemistry, Chemistry, Computer Systems, and Electronics. Additionally, ITTG director Marisa Guadalupe Flores Aguilar led an initiative to distribute the 'Cartilla de Derechos de las Mujeres' (Women's Rights Handbook) to institutional staff. This effort aims to promote equality, prevent violence, and foster a respectful workplace through the dissemination of 15 fundamental rights established by the Mexican government.
