Italy hosts various school orientation events and local community initiatives
Various educational and community events are taking place across Italy to support student orientation and local engagement. In Saluzzo, several institutes including Liceo Bodoni, Soleri-Bertoni, and Denina-Pellico-Rivoira are hosting open days and workshops to help middle school students choose their future academic paths.
In Modena, the Salone dell’Orientamento returns to ModenaFiere on November 7, offering guidance on high school, university, and post-diploma career opportunities. Similarly, Triuggio will host an orientation fair at the G. Casati school, featuring representatives from ten different secondary institutes from the Brianza region.
Other regional initiatives include an orientation meeting in Montepulciano for families of third-year middle school students, and the OrientaSud event, which concludes with a session on how global geopolitics affects young people. In Galatina, the Polo 3 institute is organizing a community event titled “A scuola… con aperitivo” to showcase extracurricular programs ranging from gastronomy to robotics.
In local news, a power outage in Cernusco sul Naviglio caused temporary disruptions at the Margherita Hack middle school, while an electrical fault at the Livorno Sud community house has delayed its reopening until November 12.
