Educational professional meetings held in Brazil

In João Pessoa, the Municipal Secretariat of Education (Sedec) and the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB) are conducting a continuing education meeting for educators. The training, focused on child development, oral skills, and written culture for children aged zero to three, aims to improve pedagogical practices within the ‘Ninhos do Saber’ municipal school network.

In Votuporanga, the Municipal Secretariat of Education held a meeting with Education Technicians to discuss professional valuation and legal classification. Following the recent reclassification of Early Childhood Educators, technicians requested similar status within the municipal teaching staff. Legal experts clarified that differences in hiring nature and job descriptions currently prevent the same classification model from being applied to both categories.
