Educational professionals receive honors in Argentina

In Santa Fe, the Municipal Council presented the fifth edition of the Marta Samatán distinction to recognize the career and commitment of local educators. The primary award was granted to Sergio Bertinat, a teacher at EESO Nº 507 Juan Pablo Mendoza, for his work in educational inclusion and his “Talleres de Oficios para la Inclusión y el Trabajo” project, which provides free training in carpentry and basic electronics.

Special distinctions were also awarded to María Gisela Gandolfo, a pedagogical advisor at Escuela Nacional Simón de Iriondo, and María Fernanda Campagnolo, a technology teacher at Escuela Nº 4 Sargento Juan Bautista Cabral.

Separately, the Faculty of Education at UNCuyo honored Professor Marta María Abate Daga for her extensive career in teaching, research, and management. The recognition specifically highlighted her contributions to Comprehensive Sexual Education (ESI) during the 20th anniversary of Law 26.150.
