Educational programs focus on environment and safety in Mexico and Chile
In Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, students and families at the Club Rotario Kindergarten participated in an environmental education and reforestation day. Organized by the General Coordination of Environmental Management, the workshop taught children how to germinate native species. Participants planted four crepe myrtle trees, a species selected for its ability to adapt to the local climate and soil, to improve the school's environment while promoting efficient water use and biodiversity.
In Punta Arenas, Chile, the Laguna Azul Kindergarten held a safety and self-care workshop for its students. In collaboration with the National Board of Kindergartens (Junji) and the Chilean Association of Security (ACHS), the activity used interactive materials and educational tools to help children identify classroom hazards and recognize safe zones. This initiative is part of the school's Integral School Safety Plan (PISE) and continues a long-standing partnership between Junji and the ACHS.
