Educational programs in Romania focus on youth career readiness

Educational initiatives in Romania are focusing on bridging the gap between academic learning and professional integration. In Oradea, the Erasmus+ program ‘Step into AI futurE+’ will host over 40 participants from Italy, Hungary, Spain, Portugal, and Romania between September 8 and 14, 2026. The program aims to help youth navigate the modern job market by addressing challenges such as AI-driven recruitment and digitalized processes. Training will include CV optimization for Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), storytelling techniques, networking strategies, and interview preparation.

Simultaneously, the Astra Technological High School in Pitesti is implementing the ‘COMP PROF ASTRA’ project, funded by European funds through the Operational Program Education and Employment. Running from December 2024 to November 2026, the project provides practical training internships for 260 students. The initiative is designed to improve the quality and inclusivity of vocational training, allowing students to gain direct experience with modern technologies and organizational structures to facilitate their transition from school to the active workforce.
