Isauro Bento Municipal School hosts art and sustainability workshops
Isauro Bento Nogueira Municipal School, part of the Municipal Education Network (Reme), recently held a special three-day program featuring workshops in reading, music, photography, theater, drawing, and sustainability.
The initiative was a partnership between the Municipal Secretariat of Education (Semed), Motiva Pantanal, and the Instituto Brasil Solidário (IBS). The project aimed to stimulate artistic creation, literature engagement, and environmental education among students of various ages. Activities included reading dynamics, puppet theater, photography lessons focusing on light and composition, and sustainability practices such as vegetable garden cultivation and material repurposing.
School director Julio Aníbal Gonzales Benites noted the positive impact on the school routine and the high level of student and staff involvement. As a permanent legacy, the partnership provided the school with new library books, furniture, and semi-professional cameras to support future pedagogical practices.
